release counselling

Release Counselling is a counselling service founded by members of The Community Church and is open to all regardless of age, gender, race, faith or sexual orientation.

Why counselling?

Many individuals and couples find counselling helpful as it gives them and opportunity to explore their thoughts and feelings in a confidential and supportive environment.

What do we offer?

We offer weekly sessions of 50 minutes which continue for an agreed period. All our counsellors are either fully qualified or in their final stages of training. We offer a full professional service and we abide by the Ethical Framework of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Our aim is to provide counselling that is accessible to all. We operate a sliding scale according to the ability of the individual to pay. This will be negotiated at the first appointment for which there will be a charge.

How to find us

Our counselling rooms are at:

49 Victoria Road

The YMCA is a 2 minute walk from Sainsbury's car park in Victoria Road or a 5 minute walk from Surbiton Station. Buses stop outside Sainsbury's or in nearby Brighton Road.
